Felicity Flipflops Fearless Footsteps

Dear Felicity Flipflops fans,

I am delighted to share that the sequel to Felicity Flipflops entitled, ‘Felicity Flipflops Fearless Footsteps’ is almost out!

The next part of Felicity’s story sees her and her faithful friends face further challenges such as their inevitable move to High School. As a reader, you will become part of their journey as they continue to face the trials and tribulations of life, being a young adult and heading towards their teenage years.

You will also learn a bit more about why Felicity wears her flipflops so much and why she has so much of an attachment to them. Some of you have shared your ideas with me as to why you think she wears them and I’m wondering how surprised you might be to hear what she reveals about them in the next part of the story.

Like the first book, the main aim of book 2 is to help readers learn from the characters, relate to them and to be able to use the characters’ experiences to help them when they are faced with similar situations. Like book 1, the second book also looks at the value of friendship and the importance that our words and actions are; the impact these can have on others around us.

There will be a competition within the book to win an author visit to your school and I will be running some competitions to win signed copies. Please have a look on social media (with parental permission), particularly TikTok and Instagram.

I can’t describe how excited I am for you all to see the new book and to hear your thoughts on the next part of Felicity’s story. Thank you all for your continued support!

Best wishes, always,

Dawn M. Gelston.
